Happy New Year and Thank You for subscribing, sharing, liking and pinning !!!! Your support and feedback have been great.
2014 marked the first full year of this blog- I made it!!! It has been an interesting journey for sure. I have learned a lot about starting up a blog, computer code (yuck!!), recipe development and picture taking. I still have tons to learn and am learning as I go what works and what doesn’t. Overall, it has been fun but challenging, and I have wanted to quit on several occasions mainly because the investment of time it takes. Time with my family is very valuable to me and I have found that the work has pulled me away more than I like. I have stuck with it, figuring that the more experience I get, the easier it will get? (hopeful here!) Plus with all the work already put in, I don’t want to give up so easily. This is why I haven’t posted as often as originally planned- it was either slow down or stop all together!

So here are the Top Ten Recipes of the Year!!!
*****
Maple Brown Sugar Slow Cooker Ham was the top post. And with good reason- it is a super easy way to make a super tender and moist ham- not an easy thing to do. Plus it frees up the oven for other things.
Close behind this wonderful ham recipe was the Moist Lemon Bundt Cake. This is one of my favorite cakes and I guess you guys are in agreement that it is delicious!!!
Coming in a close third were My Favorite Roasted Potatoes. This is still one of my personal favorite ways to make potatoes whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
This Old Fashioned Milk Cake was next in line. This is a wonderful easy moist cake that is so versatile. It is actually the base recipe for the lemon cake above.
These amazingly chocolaty (and gluten free) Flourless Peanut Butter Brownie Cookies were also very popular. They are super delicious and came about due to my youngest’s love of anything chocolate and peanut butter!
My Soft Pretzel Recipe was next. These delicious pretzels are a favorite here and are a pretty close knock off of the those great mall pretzels!
The last of the top ten were Cinnamon Gooey Butter Cake,
This amazing and simple Kielbasa Cabbage Soup
Salted Brown Butter Rice Krispie Treats– gotta love brown butter!
And these Chocolate Chip Pretzel Peanut Butter Cookies! Can’t go wrong with that combo!
A few of my favorites that didn’t make the top ten (hard to choose) are:
These Parmesan Crusted Grilled Cheese Sandwiches (need I say more!!)
This Super Easy Steel Cut Oatmeal. It only takes a few minutes the night before and this usually long cooking oatmeal is already done in the morning!!
These super delicious Grilled Pork Chops with Lemon Chive Butter
Apple Cider Doughnut Muffins that taste similar to cider doughnuts without the frying!
And this super soft Buttermilk Sandwich Bread will always be a favorite
Once again- Thank you everyone for subscribing and liking and pinning!!!! Praying you all have a Happy and Blessed New Year!
