It’s been a long but fun summer, but it has been back to homeschooling and readjusting to a schedule around here. I’m actually finding comfort in the routine and truly love being a teacher to my kids. I feel like I’m cheating somehow by being able to be their teacher and have them all day. Granted it has it’s tough moments and sometimes I just want to be all alone with a hot cup of coffee and a warm piece of bread and butter topped with this stuff. But God is good and he has truly given me the grace to do this and understand what a gift and blessing this time truly is 🙂
But onto this great everything topping- I love this stuff!! I was always such a huge fan of the everything Italian bread from my local bakery. So when I started baking all my own bread, bagels and rolls I wanted that topping to use. First I bought it pre-made- expensive- but then I found this recipe and its perfect 🙂 I use it on top of this French Bread, these Rolls, these Pretzel rolls, and on homemade bagels which I have yet to share. My family loves this stuff.

I have to admit I haven’t been able to find the garlic flakes locally and haven’t wanted to order them yet so I’ve subbed garlic powder for them and it works. I’m sure it would be much better with the flakes so I’ll just have to tack them onto an order soon. But the great thing is you can adjust the ingredients to your liking.
